A rig used by many over the years, and the use of the Wide Gap hooks makes these rigs a game-changer for live baiting. No need to release the bait and let the fish 'run' , just simply let the fish take weight (don't strike the rod) the fish will almost always hook itself in the corner of the mouth and then your on! 
Other types of hooks require you to allow the fish to run with the bait before loading up, this can cause the fish to spit the bait or do damage to the fish if swallowed. But with the Wide Gap style hooks, this is not necessary or needed. 
 
- All fishing rigs are hand-tied by myself in various locations around Australia.
- The ali crimp holds the sliding sinker away from the bait.
- Simply connect the swivel to your mainline snap, thread your desired size sinker to the dropper loop, bait up and you're away. (sinker not included)
- For smaller live baits (under 5 inches), hook the live bait just in from the back of the tail, for larger live baits thread the hook through the top nose of the mullet, allowing it to swim.

- Select if you want 6/0 or 7/0 hook size, feel free to contact us if there is a different hook size you prefer but we find these sizes work the best for us over the years.
