We have used these Gemini Sinker for years and they are our Go-To for any beach/surf land-based fishing. 
If you've always used the old Star Sinkers then these bad boys will change your game up like nothing else! When strong swell or currents tend to push your weighted rig around these Gemini Grapnel Sinkers will bight into the sand and hold. 
To release the sinker from it's grab in the sand simply give the rod a quick yank and the re-settable legs will give way and you can wind in. 
To re-set the legs simply "dip" the sinker in the water to wash away any sand, clip all 4 legs back into place and your ready to cast!
